Mayıs ayında Belçika’da
Antwerp Expo’da düzenlenen Breakbulk
Europe fuarına katılan Autoport standında,
antrepo hizmetini ve yeniliklerini tanıttı. Fuarda
Türkiye’den ve dünyadan sektörün öncü genel
kargo ve proje kargo nakliyecileri bir araya
geldi.

Yıldırım Holding’e ait Körfez ilçesindeki Marmara
Tersanesi, tamamı Türk mühendislik ve işçiliğiyle 20’nci gemiyi
de denize indirdi. Yapımı 1 yılda tamamlanan ‘YM Amazon’ adlı 11
bin 200 DWT’lik genel kargo gemisi düzenlenen törenle denize
indirildi.

The Marmara Shipyard of Yildirim Group launched its
20th built vessel 11.200 DWT “YMAmazon” on 11th of June. The ship
is a product of Turkish engineers and Turkish workers. There has been
a launching ceremony to which shipyard stuff participated.

Autoport participated in the
Breakbulk Europe Tradeshow held at the Antwerp
Expo in Belgium during the month of May and
promoted its warehousing services and innovations
at its stand. Leading general cargo and project cargo
shippers from Turkey and around the world met .
“Tayyar Şenkaya 1” adlı 80 Metre uzunluğundaki koster, 23 Haziran sabahı 06:00 sularında Finike açıklarında battı. Can
filikaları ile gemiyi terkeden kazazedeleri Palmali Grubuna ait Gobustan adlı tanker kurtardı. Ereğli’den Mersin’e gitme-
kte olan geminin rulo saç yükünün gemi karinesine çarparak deldiği ve ambarına su alan geminin battığı bildirildi.

Turkish flagged dry cargo ship Tayyar Şenkaya 1 sunk some 13 miles off Finike, in the Gulf of Antalya..The11 crew mem-
bers of Tayyar Şenkaya 1 were rescued by another Turkish vessel . Departed form Ereğli port with steel cargo and bound for Mersin,
cargo ship ‘Tayyar Şenkaya 1’ began to take in water from hatch on 4:15 AM on 23 June, in a position 13,5 miles off Finike region at
the Gulf of Antalya. 11 crew jumped into the sea from the sides of the ship an hour later rescued by another vessel. The cargo ship sank
to the bottom quickly.
1987 built, 80-meter-long, 1,854 gross tonnage ‘Tayyar Şenkaya 1’ sunk due to the steel cargo hit and damaged the sides of hatch and the
ship started to take in water. Meanwhile, the Malta-flagged tanker ‘Gobustan’ which belongs to Palmali group was in 10 miles away and
rushed to accident site. The 11 casualties which left the ship by lifeboats were rescued by tanker Gobustan on 05:15. After the casual-
ties rescued by Gobustan; the other two ships proceeding to accident site returned back on their routes. At 06:00 in the morning, Tayyar
Şenkaya 1 completely sunk.
The names of 11 rescued crew were as follows: Captain İsa Yıldız, Chief Officer Ersoy Şakar, Radio Operator Asil Canduran, Chief
Engineer Şemsettin Hemden, Mesut Dom, Murat Serdaroğlu, Yunus Çiğdem, Abdurahman Özkan, Serdar Ateş, Cumali Kurtay and Mesut
Kesici.
