08 September 2017 - 20:00 - Update: 09 September 2017 - 10:30

The conference will provide an interactive platform for investors, financiers, cargo owners and shipowners to discuss the latest developments in the global shipping and commodity markets, as well as in the financial and capital markets.
To showcase and promote the role of New York as a hub for the global maritime community and attract more business to New York targeting a global industry audience.

The objective is to enhance New York's profile as a place of business to the global maritime industry and especially to global shipping firms and industry participants who do not reside in New York.

The forum will feature a number of panel discussions and presentations along these two main themes, as well as individual company presentations and one on one meetings between investors and company management.

The keynote speaker will be John Hadjipateras, chairman, president and CEO of Dorian LPG, a Connecticut-based liquefied petroleum gas shipping company and a leading owner and operator of large gas carriers.

Among topics to be discussed will be the LNG/LPG sector, fuel oil and bunkering, chemical tankers, dry bulk, liquid bulk, both conventional and alternative financing, restructuring, consolidation, private equity and a full range of public sector issues.

Delegate will include the senior executives of global shipping, energy and commodity companies listed on US exchanges, commercial and investment bankers, institutional investors and financial advisors as well as a broader spectrum of industry participants.
