M/V Ocean Gem had engine failure and under tow, Istanbul Strait

The ship at the moment continues to pass the Bosphorus at a speed of 2.4 knots iunder the tow of the tugs named Rescue 3 and Rescue 7 belonging to the General Directorate of Coastal Safety.

The Marshall Islands flagged ship was built in 2011. It is not known why she had the engine failure.
