Hapag adds Mideast US$200-TEU peak season charge from October

GERMAN shipping giant Hapag-Lloyd will apply a US$200 per TEU peak season surcharge for all container types on the trade from Middle East, Red Sea and Indian subcontinent to Bangladesh.

This will be effective for sailings from October 15 and valid until further notice, the company announced.
