The tug 'Ievoli Black' remained on standby at the grounded 'Priscilla', until a salvage has been arranged. A three hour safety checks was being done with the vessel via VHF,16 and zero. Salvors have been contacted and were awaiting a timeline. Before, the asssembled tugs had been unable to refloat the 'Priscilla' during the high-water period. The 'Ievoli Black' had arrived on scene at 5 p.m. on July 18 while a refloat plan was formulated. It was unlikely that a further attempt would be made to refloat the vessel before the next high water-period, which was due at 4 a.m. The vessel remained stable and there were still no signs of any major damage and no signs of any pollution. The crew remained safe and well.
