New rates for the west Med and Adriatic are US$1,100 per TEU, $2,100 per FEU, $2,150 for 40-foot high cube the same for an FEU reefer.
New rates for Syria, the Black Sea and the east Med are $1,700 per TEU, $2,500 per FEU and the same for a 40-foot high cube and an FEU reefer.
New rates to Algeria will be $1,900 per TEU, $3,600 per FEU and $3,675 for a 40-foot high cube.
New rates to Tunisia will be $1,650 per TEU, $3,100 per FEU and $3,175 for a 40-foot high cube.
New rates to Libya will be $1,600 per TEU, $3,000 per FEU and $3,075 for a 40-foot high cube.
New rates to Morocco will be $1,550 per TEU, $2,900 per FEU and $2,975 for a 40-foot high cube.
These new FAK rates will apply from all Asian main ports to all Mediterranean main ports.
All outports in Asia and the Mediterranean will be subject to additional surcharges.
CMA CGM will also levy general rate increases on cargo from Asia to ports on the east coast of South America from August 1.
For these, including the north east Brazil, the extra charge will be US$500 per TEU, but also $500 for FEU, and the same for an FEU high cubed.
CMA CGM also announced the following General Rate Restorations to be applied from August 1 on Asian cargo from Korea, Taiwan, Japan, southeast Asia and Bangladesh to South Africa and Mauritius.
This items, including dry, out of gauge cargo and breakbulk, will be charged $200 per TEU and $300 per FEU.
There will also be a CMA CGM rate increase on PEX2 service from August 15 that will apply to cargo from Asia to Panama, all Caribbean and Cuban ports at $1,050 per TEU, $1,500 per FEU and $1,500 per FEU high cubes.
This also comes with an August 15 rate increase for cargo from Asia to Mexico and the west coast south of Central and South America at $750 per TEU.
