China: Jinhai Heavy Delivers Two Bulk Carriers

Recently, the naming and delivery ceremony of two 176,000 DWT Bulk Carriers J0058 and J0059 built for Bocimar International N.V. have been held at Jinhai’s wharf No.4.

Recently, the naming and delivery ceremony of two 176,000 DWT Bulk Carriers J0058 and J0059 built for Bocimar International N.V. have been held at Jinhai’s wharf No.4.

Chairman of Bocimar Mr. Marc Saverys, President Mr. Benoit Timmermans and General Manager Mr. Michael Saverys, Chairman of Jinhai Heavy Industry Mr. Li Guofeng, President Mr. Zhang Ge, ABS representatives and company cadres and staff almost 500 attended the ceremony.

In 2010, the delivery of two 176,000 DWT Bulk Carriers named “Mineral New York” and “Mineral Stonehenge” to Bocimar opened a new cooperative era through the sincere cooperation of both sides to create high-quality ships for further expanding mutual cooperation areas, laying a solid foundation for following comprehensive and deep-level cooperation.

“We have constantly optimized production craftsmanship, strengthen technological innovation and create sales mode to further upgrade the core competition and achieved recognition from all walks of life. So far, we have delivered 12 vessels with 153,480,000DWT in total this year. The number of delivered vessels in our company has reached around 50“, said an official of Jinhai Heavy Industry.
