The Netherlands: Fairstar Appoints Ingmar den Blanken as CFO

Fairstar Heavy Transport N.V. announces that Fairstar’s Supervisory Board and Management Board have unanimously decided to appoint Ingmar den Blanken (32) as Chief Financial Officer of Fairstar as from 26 June 2012. Mr den Blanken succeeds Mark de Haas in the role of CFO.

Fairstar Heavy Transport N.V. announces that Fairstar’s Supervisory Board and Management Board have unanimously decided to appoint Ingmar den Blanken (32) as Chief Financial Officer of Fairstar as from 26 June 2012. Mr den Blanken succeeds Mark de Haas in the role of CFO.

The Supervisory Board will propose his appointment to the Management Board at the next Meeting of Shareholders.

Mr den Blanken commenced working within Fairstar in May 2010 and has served as Fairstar’s Treasurer and Financial Controller since 1 December 2010.

Before joining Fairstar, Mr den Blanken worked as a financial auditor within the Rotterdam office of Ernst & Young, with a focus on clients in the shipping and transportation and the oil and gas industry. Mr den Blanken studied economics at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam. He also is a certified accountant (“Registeraccountant”) in the Netherlands.

Philip Adkins, Chief Executive Officer of Fairstar commented “Ingmar has earned the trust of his colleagues within Fairstar as a dedicated professional. We congratulate his promotion and I am certain he has the commitment, skill and integrity to fulfill his new responsibilities as our Chief Financial Officer.”
