SWISS logistics giant Kuehne + Nagel has opened its second contract logistics warehouse of 75,000 square feet in Hong Kong to meet growing demand for distribution facilities, bringing the company's total storage area in the city to 350,000 square feet.

The new facility is located at the Hutchison Logistics Centre, adjacent to Kuehne + Nagel's warehouse at Asia Terminals Limited and its container freight stations (CFS) in Kwai Chung, the major logistics hub in Hong Kong.

It features 750 pallet positions, 2,000 shelf locations, a 20,000-square foot stacking area and a multi-purpose inspection room, supported by state-of-the-art materials handling equipment and warehouse management systems as well as 21 loading docks.
