APL Logistics' California facilities bag Kellogg Company's top logistics awards

APL Logistics' facility in Fontana, and Tracy, California has clinched both of Kellogg's top logistics honours in the same year from the cereal producers' top performers of eight warehousing facilities across the US.

APL Logistics' facility in Fontana, and Tracy, California has clinched both of Kellogg's top logistics honours in the same year from the cereal producers' top performers of eight warehousing facilities across the US.

The two awards titled Top Gun and Builder's Choice awards were given to each facility in California. The Kellogg Top Gun award recognised the Fontana warehouse as the best performing facility meeting a broad mix of operational metrics for the sixth year running. Builder's Choice award went to Tracy as a top performing value-added services provider for the two most recent years, also previous winner of Top Gun for three years.

"APL Logistics has been unmatched in its safety performance as well as on-time delivery to Kellogg's customers," said Tony Deleonabreu, Kellogg Distribution director in a company statement.

APL Logistics vice-president of global contract logistics Dave Frentzel said it is proud of its award which acknowledges its facilities high standards of warehouse safety and performance metrics. "This is a testament to our team's commitment and dedication to continually add value to our customers' business."
