Vroon Offshore Services announce that they have taken delivery of a new addition to their offshore fleet.

The VOS Thalassa, a 1,400 dwt anchor handling tug support (AHTS) vessel built at the Fujian SouthEast Shipyard in China, was delivered yesterday, 2 May 2012, from the Shipyard.

VOS Thalassa will leave the Shipyard on Monday 7 May. The vessel will operate out of Singapore and will be managed by Vroon Offshore Services Pte Ltd.

The vessel has a length of 59.25 m and width of 14.95 m, and a total bollard pull of 69 Tonnes.

Vroon Offshore Services rapidly developed its shipping activities in many different markets from the 1952 when the first dry cargo ship was built. Vroon operates and manages a diverse fleet of about 150 vessels. A large fleet-expansion and newbuilding programme will secure further growth in the years ahead.
