MSC Cruises to launch new ship in 2012 (Miami Herald)

MSC Cruises signed a letter of intent with STX Europe shipyard for the delivery of a new ship in June 2012. The MSC Favolosa, which will be 1,094 feet long, will have 1,751 cabins and travel as fast as 24 knots. The Fantasia-class ship will include an MSC Yacht Club, or exclusive ``ship within a ship'' area.
