Hong Kong's TS Lines unveils plans to buy four 1,800-TEU ships
Hong Kong’s TS Lines is relenting plans to order four 1,800-TEU new buildings this year, according to chairman TS Chen.
the company originally planned to order four containerships of this size in 2011. However, predicting new build prices would fall further, the company delayed the project and used the funds to purchase offices in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Xiamen instead, reports Sino Ship News.
the shipping line currently operates 40 shipping routes with 40 ships, including three that are owned.
