UK: BMT Defence Services Participates in Royal Navy’s MARS Tanker Project

BMT Defence Services Ltd, a subsidiary of BMT Group Ltd, has announced that it has been confirmed as a sub-contractor for the Royal Navy’s MARS (Military Afloat Reach and Sustainability) Tanker project, supported by sister companies, BMT Reliability Consultants Ltd and BMT Isis Ltd.

THE Port of Prince Rupert, nearly 500 miles north of Vancouver, posted a 120 per cent volume increase in March to 52,283 TEU year on year with the addition of two new services last year.

Marseilles-Fos quarterly container volume increases 26pc to 260,000 TEU

THE Port of Marseilles-Fos has posted a 26 per cent increase in first quarter container volume to 260,000 TEU based on a poor performance last year and only six per cent better than in the first quarter in 2010, say port authorities.
Savannah's March box volume up 8.3pc, breaks record set in April, 2011

THE Port of Savannah posted an 8.3 per cent increase in container volume to 759,000 TEU in March year on year, beating the previous record set in April last year, reported the Georgia Ports Authority.
