Turkey's Arkas/EMES unveils Black Sea-Turkey-Morocco loop
TURKEY's Arkas Line and its feeder service subsidiary EMES have launched a weekly Black Sea-West Mediterranean-Morocco WBS service calling at Constantza, Istanbul (Marport), Cagliari, Casablanca, Tangier, Castellon, Cagliari, Istanbul (Marport), and back to Constantza.

TURKEY's Arkas Line and its feeder service subsidiary EMES have launched a weekly Black Sea-West Mediterranean-Morocco WBS service calling at Constantza, Istanbul (Marport), Cagliari, Casablanca, Tangier, Castellon, Cagliari, Istanbul (Marport), and back to Constantza.
With a total of three weeks in transit, this string is run by three vessels with a capacity of 700-1,000 TEU, reported Alphaliner.
The WBS is the first service providing direct connection between Tangier in northern Morocco and Istanbul as well as the Black Sea. Also, connections by transshipment at Istanbul (Marport) are offered to and from Gemlik, Izmir, Novorossisk, Odessa and Poti.
