Dynacom invests in newbuilding resales

A major Greek tanker owner has beefed up his fleet by entering the newbuilding resale market. According to market reports, Dynacom Tankers has purchased two 318,000 dwt newbuilding resale VLCCs for $108 mill each.

A major Greek tanker owner has beefed up his fleet by entering the newbuilding resale market. According to market reports, Dynacom Tankers has purchased two 318,000 dwt newbuilding resale VLCCs for $108 mill each and a 159,000 dwt Suezmax newbuilding resale for $65 mill.

They were originally ordered by interests connected to the Zachello Group. All three vessels are due to be delivered by Hyundai Ulsan in 2012.
