State control and supervision over the safety of navigation in Ukraine increased

UkraineState supervision and control of navigation safety in Ukraine will be strengthened, and the accident rate - is minimized.  As the press service of Ukraine Mininfrastruktury, this is one of the priority tasks of the Ukrmorrechinspektsiey this year.

UkraineState supervision and control of navigation safety in Ukraine will be strengthened, and the accident rate - is minimized. 

As the press service of Ukraine Mininfrastruktury, this is one of the priority tasks of the Ukrmorrechinspektsiey this year.

To ensure safety during the mooring of ships and loading and unloading operations in sea and river ports of Ukraine will be strengthened supervision and control over the content in a proper state berths, mooring lines and fenders. 

In addition, a number of checks will be conducted to identify illegal parking bases small vessels.

Continuously monitor and supervise compliance with safety requirements database stops shipping, in particular, the availability of specially designed wharfs for landing and the passengers, availability and serviceability of navigational and meteorological equipment, availability and location in a working state of rescue vessels.

In I quarter of 2012 is scheduled for 12 tests run shipping companies, enterprises, Maritime and River Transport of Ukraine safety of navigation.

To ensure proper operation of sea ports in difficult ice conditions are under constant review the implementation of Berdyansk, Illichivsk, Kerch, Mariupol, Nikolaev, Odessa port and "South" of the work plans developed Ukrmorrechinspektsiey on results of inspections in 2011.
