French frigate helps released bulk carrier

The French frigate Nivôse has provided the newly released Bangladesh-flagged bulk carrier Jahan Moni with fresh water, food and medical assistance.

The French frigate Nivôse has provided the newly released Bangladesh-flagged bulk carrier Jahan Moni with fresh water, food and medical assistance. The vessel has a crew of 26 Bangladeshi citizens. The Jahan Moni, 44,377 DWT, was hijacked on December 5 last year 1,300 nautical miles east of Eyl, Somalia.
