In the water sample taken from the Pacific Ocean, researchers stated that they have found remnants of the radioactive caesium substance which leaked from the Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant.

The level of the radioactive substance declared to be under than the hazardous level for people consuming sea products and living forms in the sea.

In the eathquake and tsunami on 11 March 2011 in the north east of Japan, thousands of people lost their lives.
