MSC to hike west coast transpacific eastbound rate US$50/TEU from March

THE Mediterranean Shipping Co (MSC) announced a general rate increase of US$50 per TEU and $100 per FEU from cargo originating on the west coast of the US to the Far East from March 1 for all but reefer boxes.

THE Mediterranean Shipping Co (MSC) announced a general rate increase of US$50 per TEU and $100 per FEU from cargo originating on the west coast of the US to the Far East from March 1 for all but reefer boxes.

There will be a $100 per TEU and $150 per FEU increase for cargo originating on US east or Gulf coast, and $100 per TEU and $200 per FEU for cargo originating from intermodal points and moving to the US west, east or Gulf coast ports.
