Hamburg Sud and Seago combine services to serve eastern Mediterranean

services into one joining three cost-cutting loops between north Europe

STARTING in January, Hamburg Sud and Seago Line will combine their four services into one joining three cost-cutting loops between north Europe and the eastern Mediterranean.
The Israel Loop will deploy four Seago 4,200-TEU ships on the following rotation: Rotterdam, Felixstowe, Bremerhaven, Antwerp, Haifa, Alexandria, Ashdod and back to Rotterdam.
The Levant Loop will deploy five 4,200-TEU Hamburg Sud ships on the following rotation: Felixstowe, Antwerp, Hamburg, Tangiers, Limassol, Alexandria, Port Said, Beirut, Lattakia, Mersin, Port Said, Algeciras and back to Felixstowe.
These will be serviced by the Inner Med Feeder service, on the following rotation: Tangiers, Algeciras, Alexandria, Mersin, Port Said, Ashdod, Haifa, Salerno, Valencia and back to Tangiers.
Hamburg Sud completes its service between north Europe and the eastern Mediterranean with the Turkey Service which will retain its old rotation of Felixstowe, Bremerhaven, Antwerp, Gebze, Kumport, Gemlik, Aliaga, Valencia and back to Felixstowe.
