Shipping Corporation of India ups India-Europe rate US$200/TEU July 1

THE Shipping Corporation of India (SCI) will levy a US$200 per TEU rate increase on westbound cargo from Indian to Europe and the Mediterranean from July 1.

THE Shipping Corporation of India (SCI) will levy a US$200 per TEU rate increase on westbound cargo from Indian to Europe and the Mediterranean from July 1.

The increase will apply to all cargo destined for ports in North Europe, the United Kingdom, the Mediterranean and Black Sea region. SCI said the rate restoration is necessary to "meet increased operational costs."
