Evergreen Line, MOL to Launch New Asia-USEC Service

Evergreen Line together with MOL will launch a new all-water service linking major Asian ports to key destinations on the U.S. East Coast via the Suez Canal. The new service will commence in June 2012.

Evergreen Line together with MOL will launch a new all-water service linking major Asian ports to key destinations on the U.S. East Coast via the Suez Canal. The new service will commence in June 2012.

The new Asia-U.S. East Coast Service 3 (AUE3) will add more direct calls to Evergreen’s service network in this trade, including Cai Mep, Singapore and Jacksonville, FL.

Ten ships of 4,500-5,600 TEU will be deployed in the joint service, of which Evergreen Line will provide one vessel with others operated by MOL. The first sailing is planned from Hong Kong on June 3rd, 2012.

The port rotation for the 70-day voyage is as follows:

Hong Kong – Yantian – Singapore – Suez Canal – Algeciras – Norfolk – Savannah – Jacksonville – Charleston – Algeciras – Suez Canal – Singapore – Cai Mep – Hong Kong
