INDEPENDENT maritime advisory and research company, Drewry, has opened a new office in Shanghai in a bid to grow its presence in the China market.
The company said in a statement that the recent restructuring of its core services into three new brands, Maritime Research, Maritime Advisors and Supply Chain Advisors, is now complemented by the opening of the new Chinese office.
"Through this new site, Drewry is now better placed to serve key clients, while also using local market knowledge to support international clients," it said.
Arjun Batra, group managing director, said that the new Shanghai office, coupled with its existing locations in London, Delhi and Singapore, places the company "at the heart of a global industry that requires local, national and international knowledge to provide our clients with the continuous support they need."
