CMA CGM, China Shipping Container Lines (CSCL), Orient Overseas Container Lines (OOCL) and Pacific International Lines (PIL) will start a new weekly service in the Asia-Australia/New Zealand trade starting in November from Shanghai.
The new service replaces the current “ANZEX?/ “NZN?service operated by CMA CGM and OOCL.
The service will turn in 49 days and offer extensive port coverage in north east Asia and New Zealand and including a call in Australia on her way from Asia.
The full port rotation will Shanghai, Ningbo, Shenzhen-Chiwan, Kaohsiung, Brisbane, Auckland, Port Chalmers, Lyttelton, Napier, Tauranga, Hong Kong, Shenzhen-Shekou, Keelung and back to Shanghai.
The new service will be operated with seven vessels in the 4,250-TEU range, of which three will be provided by CMA CGM, two by OOCL and one each by CSCL and PIL, while ANL will buy slots.
