South Korea: STX Secures USD 310 Million Container Ship Order

The world’s fourth largest shipbuilder, STX Offshore & Shipbuilding, announced today that it had received a $310 million order to construct two container ships from an unnamed European company.

The world’s fourth largest shipbuilder, STX Offshore & Shipbuilding, announced today that it had received a $310 million order to construct two container ships from an unnamed European company.
The Company plans to deliver the container vessels by 2015, Reuters reported.
STX Offshore & Shipbuilding has built about 700 ships over the last 40 years in Busan and Jinhae.
