Cable layer Maersk Responder sailing with satisfaction

On 24th April, COSCO Lianyungang Shipyard accommodated its first offshore vessel - "Maersk Responder", the Cable laying vessel which belongs to the largest shipping company Maersk Line.

On 24th April, COSCO Lianyungang Shipyard accommodated its first offshore vessel - "Maersk Responder", the Cable laying vessel which belongs to the largest shipping company Maersk Line. Maersk Supply Service have 65 different kinds of marine service vessels; they can provide various services such as offshore drilling, marine cable laying, platform supply and other offshore services.
 
"Maersk Responder", which has a total length of 106 meters and a breadth of 20 meters, is now working off South Korea. The main repair project involved shell plate painting and propeller polishing work. After docking, COSCO Lianyungang Shipyard dispatched a team of skilled workers with advanced paint equipment, which they used in strict accordance with the requirements of the spray painting professional paint technology, meeting the strict quality requirements and earning high praise from the shipside. COSCO Lianyungang Shipyard project team has taken this as an opportunity to open up a new market for repairing the high-tech and high valued- added ship types.

On the afternoon of 26th April, the yard arranged a tour for senior crew to the most famous place in LianyungangšC the Mountain of Flowers and Fruits. The crew really enjoyed the trip.
 
"Maersk Responder" completed all repairs and sailed on time. Before the ship departure, the Captain expressed his appreciation that the high quality requirements of the repair had been met, and for the efficient work and good service provided by COSCO Lianyungang Shipyard. We will have more extensive cooperation, he said.
