Turkish Manta Denizcilik Orders Three Bulkers

The orders are two 35,200dwt handysize vessels at Samho Shipbuilding and one 82,000dwt bulker at Sungdong Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering.

Turkish shipowner Manta Denizcilik has ordered three bulkers from two South Korean shipyards, Samho Shipbuilding and Sungdong Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering. The orders are two 35,200dwt handysize vessels at Samho Shipbuilding and one 82,000dwt bulker at Sungdong Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering. According to reports, Manta will pay around $26.5m for each vessel, according to asiasis.com. The vessels ordered at Samho Shipbuilding are expected to be delivered in 2012.
