Zodiac Maritime orders ten cargo ships from STX

Sammy Ofer-controlled Zodiac Maritime has placed an order worth USD 1.4 billion with STX Offshore and Shipbuilding in South Korea for ten 13,000-TEU container carriers, Seatrade Asia reports. The vessels, which are 365 metres long and 48 metres wide, will be delivered from the second quarter of 2013.
