Cosco takes delivery of 13,386-TEU Netherlands in Jiangsu province
COSCO's new 13,386-TEU containership has been christened at a ceremony held at Nantong Cosco KHI Ship Engineering (NACKS), a joint venture between Cosco and Kawasaki Heavy Industries located in Jiangsu province.
The naming ceremony was attended by NACKS president Hans Chengmin, Cosco deputy managing director Hou Liping and Beijing Benz Automotive vice president Mu Wen.
The newbuilding is the fourth in a series of eight 13,386-TEU vessels being built for Cosco by the NACKS shipyard. It will be deployed on the CKYH shipping alliance's North Europe Express Service 3 (NE3).
The port rotation of the NE3 is: Xingang, Dalian, Qingdao, Shanghai, Ningbo, Singapore, Rotterdam, Felixstowe, Hamburg, Antwerp, Hong Kong, Shanghai and back to Xingang.
