4 vessels were attacked by pirates in Arabian Sea in the last 4 days, two of them tankers of Bourbon Offshore, France.

On 12-JAN-11 at 10:46 UTC the offshore vessel Bourbon Hestia was attacked while underway in position 12 06 0 N, 044 26 48 E, 33.95nm slighty SE of Qawah, Yemen on bearing 357. Multipurpose offshore vessel Bourbon Hestia IMO 9331294, dwt 3230, built 2006, flag France, manager Bourbon Offshore France.

On 12-JAN-11 at 10:46 UTC the offshore supply vessel Bourbon Hector was attacked while underway in position 12 06 0 N, 044 25 0 E, 33.9nm due S of Qawah, Yemen on bearing 0.112. Offshore support vessel Bourbon Hector IMO 9307449, dwt 3230, built 2006, flag France, manager Bourbon Offshore France.

On 11-JAN-11 at 10:21UTC, the suezmax tanker Barbarosa reported being under attack by a PAG in one skiff while underway in position 16 33 00 N, 59 08 00 E, 177nm SE of Al Lakbi Harbor, Oman on bearing 303.9. Suezmax tanker Barbarosa IMO 9415399, dwt 164746, built 2008, flag Socialist Peoples Libyan Arab Jamahiriya, manager V.Ships Monaco.

On 08-JAN-11 at 0352UTC, bulk carrier Hong Ocean was reported under attack by pirates in 4 skiffs at position 15 46 08 N, 55 42 8 E, 119nm SE of Salalah, Oman on bearing 309. Bulk carrier Hong Ocean IMO 8902773, dwt 95808, built 1990, flag Marshall Islands, owner Hongyuan Marine, Ningbo, China.
