DADAAB REFUGEE CAMP (A.A) - Muslims living in refugeecamps on the Kenyan-Somali border fast during the holy month of Ramadan despitethe extremely hot weather.The Dadaab Refugee Camp on the Kenyan-Somali border is one that thousands ofhungry and thirsty individuals walked to for days in order to find food andwater.Muslims living in hot weather and bad conditions continue to fast and teachthe holy Qur'an in small homes built of tree branches.Officials from Turkey's Humanitarian Relief Foundation, or IHH, areproviding fast-breaking meals to the refugees in the camp. The fast-breakingdinners include water, dates and rice.Journalists and officials providing aid from Turkey have to live in tents.Meanwhile, children in the refugee camp try to get educated in booths madeout of tree branches and plastic bags.There is only one pencil and notebook per four students.Teachers in front of black boards in all corners are making efforts toeducate the children.(SOL-MS)
