ISTANBUL (A.A) - Sergio Scariolo, coach of the Spain's nationalbasketball team, on Saturday said bench players had got biggest share to seal awin over their Greek rivals in an Istanbul game in the round of last 16 in the2010 World Basketball Championship."Twice we have fallen behind but the bench helped us come back and claim thevictory,"Scariolo told reporters in a press meeting after the game, which sawthe Spaniards routing Greece 80-72, to make their way to quarter finals.In the quarter finals, Spain is set to face Serbia, which toppled Croatia73-72 earlier today."We respect our Serbian contenders in the quarter finals,"Scariolo said.Greek coach Jonas Kazlauskas put the blame on"poor offense"against theSpanish zone defense, saying that they could use a longer resting period afterthe group stage of the championship.(İMB-AY)
