(GEN) IN CANADA TURKISH PARLIAMENT CHIEF MEETS TURKISH NGO REPRESENTATIVES

OTTAWA (A.A) - Turkish Parliament Speaker Mehmet Ali Sahin onSaturday met with representatives of a number of Turkish civil societyorganizations in Ottawa, Canada.Speaking at the meeting, which was held at the Chateau Laurier Hotel, Sahinsaid Turkish civil society organizations abroad were important in promotingTurkey, adding that they would make contributions in representing Turkey.Sahin was in Canada to participate in a meeting of parliament heads of theG20 countries in Canada. The meeting ended on Saturday.The Turkish parliament chief met with his counterparts over a breakfasthosted by South Korean Parliament Speaker Park Hee Tae.(İMB-AY)
