GIJON (A.A) - Turkey's Izmir State Opera and Ballet staged onSaturday Carl Orff's Carmina Burana in Spain's Gijon city.The audience gave a standing ovation to the orchestra and dancers at the endof the three-hour ballet at Gijon's Jovellanos Theatre.The Izmir State Opera House staged last Thursday Ask-i Memnu (or theForbidden Love), a Turkish opera in two acts, by Turkish composer Selman Ada.(İMB-AY)
