(GEN) TURKISH PREMIER MEETS U2's BONO, BAND MEMBERS

ISTANBUL (A.A) - Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan onSunday met with Bono and members of the legendary Irish rock band.The meeting at the Dolmabahce Palace came ahead of U2's stadium concert inIstanbul on Monday night.Erdogan's daughter Sumeyye, Turkey's Chief European Union negotiator EgemenBagis and State Minister Hayati Yazici also attended the meeting.Bono gave the Turkish premier a red iPod Nano, which he said would benefitthe Global Fund to Fight Against AIDS.The meeting went on behind closed doors.(İMB-AY)
