(SPO) LITHUANIA'S COACH PLEASED OVER VICTORY AGAINST CANADA

IZMIR (A.A) - Lithuanian national basketball team's coach saidon Sunday that he was happy with his team's victory against Canada in today'sworld championship game.Speaking to reporters in the Aegean province of Izmir, Lithuania's coachKestutis Kemzura said his team struggled hard and displayed a very goodperformance at its game against Canada."It has been a good day for us,"Kemzura said, adding the Canadian team'stactics were also successful.Commenting on Tuesday's match with Spain as well, Kemzura said Lithuaniawould do its best to defeat Spain in the upcoming game.Canada's technical director Leo Rautins said that Lithuania had pushed histeam hard although Canada was more experienced.Canada's players displayed intense efforts, but they could not preventdefeat eventually, Rautins noted.Lithuania defeated Canada 70-68 in Group D of 2010 World BasketballChampionship in the Aegean province of Izmir on Sunday.(DO-BRC)
