KOCAELI (A.A) - Security forces impounded 93 kg of hashishhidden among stuff in body of a van in northwestern Turkey.Acting on testimony of a driver who was detained during another operation onFebruary 19, security forces stopped and searched a van near the town of Kartepein Kocaeli. The van was on its way from the southeastern province of Diyarbakirto Istanbul.During the search, police found 93 kg of hashish stashed in 36 packages.Eleven people were detained in three different provinces, Kocaeli,Diyarbakir and Istanbul, for their alleged involvement in illicit drugtrafficking.(UK-MS)
