ANKARA (A.A) - Turkey's industry minister will travel Monday toIran to hold a series of talks.As part of his visit, Turkish Industry&Trade Minister Nihat Ergun willattend the D-8 industry ministers'meeting to take place on March 2.Ergun will deliver a speech at the gathering during which industrialdevelopment strategies of D-8 countries will be discussed.Ergun will also meet with Iranian Minister of Industries&Mining Ali AkbarMehrabian in Tehran.The free trade zone planned to be established by Turkey and Iran, as well asways to improve the trade volume between the two countries will be on the agendaof the two ministers'meeting, officials said.The ministers are also expected to sign a cooperation protocol followingtheir gathering.After holding bilateral talks with other industry ministers participating inthe D-8 summit, Ergun will return to Turkey on Thursday.(DO-UK)
