In the midday hours of May 25, 2011, the "Isis" ran aground on the Outer Maas following a total engine blackout short after having departed from Rotterdam to Tallinn.

In the midday hours of May 25, 2011, the "Isis" ran aground on the Outer Maas following a total engine blackout short after having departed from Rotterdam to Tallinn.

The "Gepke III" and "Broedertrouw 15" successfully refloated the ship an escorted it river downstream until they were released by the "Smit Japan" and "Louise" towards an anchorage.

Ro-Ro Isis IMO 7905481, dwt 2762, built 1981, flag Malta, manager/owner Nordic Shipping Group, Estonia.
