At the Marmara entrance of the Dardanelles, 17 miles off Gallipoli, two vessels collided. Minor damages occurred at both ships after the accident. M/V Hızır, a Turkish ship with Maltese flag which had departed from Mersin and bound for Izmit Bay, after having passed the Strait, collided with M/V ŞENER 1, another Turkish ship with Panama flag, which departed from Constanta Port of Romania and bound for Israel.
In the accident, HIZIR crashed intı Şener 1 on her Starboard side, and both ship damaged in the accident, where no pollution was reported.
